Dr. Bettina von Stamm

Founder / Innovation Philosopher, Story Teller, Catalyst - Innovation Leadership Forum (DE)
Bettina von Stamm, has been an original and visionary thinker as well as a prolific writer in the field of innovation since 1992.
Her perspective on innovation builds on three foundations:

- The importance of a deep understanding of specific context - reflected in her facilitated assessment tool for innovation conditions, the InnovationWave®.
- The necessity to take a systemic approach - is reflected in her BvS Innovation Framework.

- A deep focus on people - which is supported by two sets of picture cards that help elicit assumptions and bridge chasms so common in the highly diverse contexts that innovation requires.
She captures her approach, means of communication, and effect as follows: Innovation Philosopher, Story Teller, Catalyst.

As the Founder and Director of the Innovation Leadership Forum, Bettina works with leaders and leadership teams to give them confidence to innovate and collaborate in the 21st century. She delivers executive programs at prestigious universities and corporations around the world. Her most recent clients include 3M, Cambridge University, DEUSTO Business School, Glen Dimplex, Imerys Carbon & Graphites, Sanofi Aventis, Siemens and Steelcase.

Following her deep conviction about the importance of sustainability as a key driver for innovation, Bettina joined Katerva, a non-profit whose mission is to identify, evaluate, and accelerate sustainable disruptive innovation, as Director of Awards in Autumn 2015.

She is a Fellow of the German-based Peter Prebilla Foundation, the UK-based RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), and holds the position of Visiting Professor at Middlesex University. Her prolific writing includes 4 books and innumerable articles.
